Starting the Day: A 5-Minute Breathing Exercise

How you start your day determines your mood for the rest of it. Just taking 5 minutes for a breathing exercise calms your nervous system and increases your focus.

Application Steps:

  • Come to a comfortable seat.
  • Gently close your eyes.
  • Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, and exhale for 4 counts.
  • Repeat this cycle 10 times.

With regular practice, you will notice a change in your mind.
